There are a bunch of anthologies like Catfantastic and Catopolis. I can't speak to the quality of those, I haven't read them yet. There's a cute book called Varjak Paw that is all cats. There are cats in all of Patricia C. Wrede 's Enchanted Forest Chronicles. There is a nice cat in Brian Jacques 's Mossflower, also in Redwall and probably some of the other Redwall books but I only remember those. It's currently only available online but will hopefully someday be available in print. This isn't a fantasy but there is a new mystery series featuring magical cats.

I will have to check that out An anthology - Cats in Space and Other Places. I noticed Anne McCaffrey and Elizabeth Scarborough have a new series out about telepathic cats, starting with Catalyst. I just saw I left out the d in Noticed, which is why the touchstones wouldn't work for me. Thanks, kmaziarz :o. I needed to check it to refresh my memory. It's more of a YA title I think, but it definitely has cats! I haven't read it for years, but I think it would hold up for adults just as well as teenagers.

I remember I was totally absorbed by it when I read it! I read the first 3 Ghatti Tales books have the other 2 on my TBR pile ; I thought they were good for one read, but gave them away because I thought parts of it were just too gory for me to want to reread in the future. Rita Mae Brown has a mystery series with cats and other animals who can talk to each other, but not to humans. I haven't read the most recent books last 2 or 3 , though.
